102,600 meals packed to help feed hungry kids.
Did you know that 1 in 7 kids in the world suffers from the effects of food insecurity, living in a chronic state of malnutrition? Through the OneMeal program, tens of thousands of impoverished children have a warm, nutritious meal EACH DAY.
Irvine Feeds The World is our annual family-friendly, meal-packaging extravaganza where volunteers from the Irvine community, Love Irvine, churches, and other community groups come together in unity to help end world hunger. In 2022 over 500 volunteers including Irvine Police Department, Scouts BSA, OC Fire Dept., Woodbridge High School, and more helped pack
102,600 meals
to help feed hungry kids.
THIS November 4, 2023, our generous host SHEPHERD’S GROVE Church will again sponsor and host Irvine Feeds The World in partnership with LOVE IRVINE. This event is one of the projects during City Wide Serve Day, also on November 4, 2023. Our goal is to make at least 100,000 meals again, which we can achieve with your help!
