Citywide Serve Day 2024: A Community United in Service

When we come together, we create something extraordinary. Love Irvine’s 2024 Citywide Serve Day brought 654 volunteers to 28 projects across Irvine, contributing an incredible 1,526 hours of service. Together, we made an impact valued at $58,918.86, proving that the power of community can transform lives.

From crafting kindness rocks to cleaning trails, preparing meals to sewing quilts, every project highlighted the heart of our city—its people.

Here are just a few highlights:

  1. Irvine Sees the World – Volunteers helped the less fortunate receive the gift of sight through glasses.

  2. Kindness Rocks for Waymakers – Volunteers painted kindness rocks with encouraging messages for youth in need.

  3. Trail Clean Up at Jeffrey Trail Open Space – Volunteers helped keep our community’s trails clean and beautiful.

  4. Tending the Food Forest – Volunteers worked in the garden to support gardening and environmental education and food security efforts.

  5. Harvest Produce at Harvest Solutions Farm – Volunteers harvested fresh produce to help provide fresh produce for those in need in Orange County.

Every smile shared, rock painted, and trail cleaned was a step toward a stronger, more connected community.
