Love Irvine at Sessions
This February 8th, the Love Irvine community gathered at Sessions West Coast Deli for a day of service, connection, and gratitude. The energy was high, the smiles were contagious, and together, we made a meaningful impact!
200 Welcome Home Cards for Our Marines!
Our main activity for the day was creating Welcome Home cards for Irvine’s 2/11 Marine Battalion, who are returning from deployment. With markers, stickers, and heartfelt messages, we crafted 200 cards to show our appreciation and support for these brave service members.
We were honored to have Irvine City Council Members Melinda Liu and William Go, as well as Al Tello, who serves on staff for Chairman of the OC Board of Supervisors, Don Wagner, join us for this special event. Their presence and support reinforced the spirit of unity and service that defines Love Irvine.
From the moment people walked in, there was an upbeat and friendly energy in the air. Volunteers of all ages came together to create cards, share conversations, and enjoy the welcoming space at Sessions West Coast Deli.
We captured some great moments, including photos of the handmade cards and our special guests! (Check out our social media for highlights!)
